Bury will be without the suspended Peter Sweeney.

Sweeney received a straight red card in the final minute of last weekend's 4-1 defeat at Carlisle for lashing out at Francois Zoko and begins a three-match ban after the club elected not to appeal the decision.

Shaun Harrad is available after returning from a loan spell at Rotherham, where he scored three goals in eight appearances, but boss Richie Barker still has a host of injury worries to keep him occupied as the Shakers look to end a run of 10 games without victory.

Skipper Steven Schumacher (hamstring) and forward Lenell John-Lewis (thigh) are around a fortnight away from returning.

Andy Bishop (calf) and Mark Carrington (hamstring) were hoping to train on Friday and will be assessed.

Paul Hayes has recovered from a minor injury and is expected to be in the Wycombe squad.

On-loan striker Hayes was nursing a hamstring problem earlier this week and returned to parent club Charlton to receive treatment but he is now fit.

Young striker Matt McClure and experienced midfielder Chris Hackett missed the home draw with Colchester but both players resumed training on Thursday and will come back into the reckoning.

McClure tweaked a hamstring against Leyton Orient in the previous game while Hackett has missed the last two matches with the groin injury that forced him off at Scunthorpe on March 3.

Meanwhile, James Tunnicliffe has undergone surgery on the shoulder injury that brought a premature end to his loan spell at Crewe.

The centre-back will be out for around three months.
